Nengajo is a Japanese new years card that you send to friends, family, and colleagues. It is meant to send good wishes for the coming year. This year is the year of the horse. There are 12 different Japanese zodiac signs. AATJ (American Association of Teachers of Japanese) promotes the study of Japanese across all levels of instruction. In addition, they facilitate research exchange between countries. “Aoyagi sensei’s classes have been a highlight of my high school career. I have really enjoyed taking it throughout the years and I have made so many great friendships and unlocked so many opportunities thanks to it.” -Abigail Bowers Congratulations, Abigail! |
